Description
The main objective of the course is to build the mathematical foundation that students need to begin their careers in the field of artificial intelligence. Students will learn how to work with matrices and vectors, where and why complex numbers are used, how the derivative of a function relates to velocity, and much more. During the lectures, new concepts will be introduced along with examples of their real-world applications. These concepts will then be reinforced during practical sessions through hands-on coding in Python. The course can serve as a starting point for further studies and careers in fields such as algorithm design, data processing and analysis, scientific computing, machine learning, cryptography, and more.
