Test Git SSH Setup Complete

Configuration Applied

✅ Remote URL changed to SSH:

git remote set-url origin git@github.com:PetyoKostakov/PetyoKostakov.github.io.git

✅ SSH config updated (~/.ssh/config):

Host github.com
  HostName github.com
  User git
  IdentityFile ~/.ssh/personal/id_rsa
  AddKeysToAgent yes

This tells SSH to use your personal key at ~/.ssh/personal/id_rsa when connecting to GitHub.

To Push Your Changes

cd /Users/kostapet/git/PetyoKostakov.github.io
git add .
git commit -m "Add learning courses with content pages and styling"

Troubleshooting

If you get an SSH key permission error, fix the key permissions:

chmod 600 ~/.ssh/personal/id_rsa
chmod 644 ~/.ssh/personal/id_rsa.pub

Then test the connection:

ssh -T git@github.com

You should see: Hi PetyoKostakov! You've successfully authenticated...
